Minty Peterson
Mechanic Minty Peterson (Cliff Parisi) is a joker and a bit of a softie. But he has been used by Phil Mitchell in the past to do his dirty work. He's called Minty because he's always late - 'After Eight' in rhyming slang!
Marriages Heather Trott (annulled)
2002 First appears as heartless landlord of Janine Butcher and Laura Dunn and is revealed to be an old friend of Phil Mitchell's.
2003 When Phil's arrested, he asks Minty to keep an eye on his sister, Sam Mitchell.
2004 Develops an unrequited love for Sam, who turns down his proposal. Made manager of the Arches.
2005 Moves into a flat with Garry Hobbs and they become good mates.
2006 Taken for a fool by pretty Aussie lapdancer SJ. Garry exposes her plans to fleece him and she runs off with her lover.
2007 Instantly smitten when he meets best mate Garry's mum, Hazel Hobbs. Garry finds out about their affair and thumps Minty. Proposes to Hazel. Heather enters the couple in a wedding competition and they make it to the finals.
2008 Thinks he's going to be a father and is heartbroken when Hazel tells him she made a mistake. Hazel leaves but returns in April and asks Minty to leave with her. He stays in Walford and marries Heather after she stepped in to replace Hazel in the wedding competition. Weeks later, tells Heather he only loves her as a friend. Marriage is not consummated.
2009 Starts relationship with Phil's old flame, Manda Best and she moves in with her son, Adam.
Feb 2010 Breaks up with Manda after he reveals he has feelings for Sam Mitchell.
Sept 2010 Sam tells him she wants to leave Walford and start a new life with him. Is caught kissing Sam at George's christening and leaves the square on his own...
