Once the cutest kid on the Square, Ben, who is hearing impaired, now gives dad Phil the run around and is a real mischief maker. He has a habit of taking out his hearing aid to avoid listening to anything he doesn’t want hear!

1998 Mum Kathy takes him to South Africa where his uncle Ted lives to start a new life.
2006 Is brought over to England by his half-brother Ian after mum Kathy dies in a car crash and moves in with dad Phil.
Charlie is a student at the Anna Fiorentini theatre and film school in London and has played Ben since Ben’s return to the Square in 2006.
