Born on 5 June 1987, Charlie grew up in Kent with his parents and older brother. He went to drama school and was a member of the National Youth Theatre. As well as EastEnders, he has also been seen in The Bill and horror film Popcorn.
Charlie once had dreams of becoming a rock star and before he won the role in EastEnders, he played guitar in a band called The Unknown.
