Darren’s had it tough growing up in a family that’s always struggled for cash but from a young age he’s always made a little on the side. It’s a shame most of his money-making ideas aren’t strictly legal!
2004 Arrives in the Square with layabout dad Keith, mum Rosie and pregnant twin sister Demi, and moves in with big brother Mickey.
2005 Goes on a booze binge with Stacey, kisses her and collapses and has to be taken to hospital.
2006 Finds a small fortune in bundles of cash – that belong to Jake Moon – and spends most of it. Rosie and Demi leave for a new life up North but Darren stays in Walford with his dad.
2007 Sets up a business selling goods over the internet and uses a bank account in his dad’s name to collect the cash. Dates schoolgirl Libby Fox but leaves her after quitting school to spend the summer with his mum and sister.
Charlie was born in 1991. As well as appearing EastEnders, he has appeared in several commercials.
Charlie uses the 'G' in his professional name to distinguish from another actor called Charlie Hawkins.
