Hazel was a bit of a good-time girl in her younger years and she's gone through one man after another. She has a difficult relationship with son Garry because of her flighty ways.

Kika was born in1961 and is the daughter of a Scottish father and an English mother. Kika's dad was an army major and she travelled all over the world as a child on her father's army postings. She was born in Germany and spent a large part of her childhood in Malay and later did part of her acting training in Prague.
Kika's first acting job was with a touring theatre company for children and she won the job after cheekily blagging an interview. As well as many theatre roles, Kika starred in much-loved TV drama Darling Buds of May as Angela Snow, Scottish soap Strathblair and most recently, as one of the 'two Julies' in ITV's Bad Girls. She has also appeared in Red Dwarf, Casualty, Jonathan Creek and The Bill.
Kika lives in a cottage in Farnham, Surrey, and she keeps four horses. Kika is a practising pagan.
