2005Admits hes illiterate but encouraged to learn to read by Darren. Demi nearly dies from a heroin overdose.
2006Rosie has a fling with her former hubby Mike Swann. Keith reluctantly agrees to marry her but she doubts his commitment and dumps him at the altar. Rosie moves up north with Demi, leaving him to look after Darren.
2007 Worries about the kind of life he's giving Darren and nearly moves him to South London until Darren protests!

David was born in 1954 and has had a varied career including stints as a roadie with 60s band Hawkwind, as a window dresser, and also as a comedian.
David turned to acting in the 90s after a short drama course and has appeared in many shows since, from The Bill to A Touch of Frost.
