Jake was born 12 July 1972 and he first started acting when he was just 10.
He has appeared in many theatre, TV and film roles, including TV sitcom Only Fools and Horses, TV crime drama Inspector Morse, British film Vera Drake and Hollywood movie The Illusionist alongside Edward Norton.
Jake is married and has one daughter, born in 2005. He is good friends with ex-EastEnder Kacey Ainsworth, who played the Square's Little Mo Slater.
