Pat Evans

Pat Evans

The original ‘tart with a heart’, Pat has flirted with the seedier side of life in her younger years. She’s best known for her colourful love life – and her tasteless dangly earrings!

I’ve been married four times. I know what men are like and, believe me, they’re all dreamers

1986 Arrives after fleeing her violent hubby Brian but son Wicksy isn’t pleased to see her. Flirts with prostitution and gets young punk Mary involved.

1987 Bumps into her first love Frank Butcher on a day out with the ladies darts team. Frank tells her he’s always loved her!

1990 The newlyweds sell up the Queen Vic licence to concentrate on the B&B and car lot.

1992 Starts up her own cab business, PatCabs, but accidentally knocks down and kills a young girl at Christmas.

1993 Is sent down for six months and vows never to drive again.

1994 Frank disappears and leaves a desperate Pat in debt. Car salesman Roy Evans bails her out.

1995 Starts dating Roy and discovers he’s impotent but decides to stay with him. Discovers Frank is in a refuge in Bristol after a breakdown. Frank turns up on Christmas Day but sends him packing.

1996 Has a one-night-stand with Frank while Roy is away on business and is full of guilt. Marries Roy in November.

2007 Bumps into gent Len Harker, who helps her on her quest to discovers more about her late Down's Syndrome sister Joan, who was put in an institution as a child.
