Born in 1984 in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, Rob later moved to Hove, near Brighton with his mum Phyllis and dad Paul.
Rob left school at 16 and drifted for a time, working as a security man in bars, but he later applied for drama school and appeared in an episode of The Basil Brush Show before being picked for a major role in Sky One’s football drama Dream Team.
Rob has also worked as a model in music videos and on the catwalk.
