Jason Donovan hopeful of Echo Beach return

Jason Donovan has said that he thinks ITV soap Echo Beach will return to our TV screens.
Doubts had been looming over the drama's future after the first series achieved poor ratings.
The soap, which ran in tandem with comedy drama Moving Wallpaper on the same channel, pulled in just 1.9 million viewers in February.
Viewing figures peaked at 2.1 million in the competitive Friday night slot.
But Jason, who played Dan Marrack in the Cornwall based soap, said: "I do believe Echo Beach will come back in some shape or form. Watch this space.
"It was always an experiment. To be honest, what we did was distinctly groundbreaking. It was a very different show for ITV.
"These things take a while - as any good drama would, or should - to bed in."
Last month ITV executives confirmed that Moving Wallpaper has been recommissioned for another series, but said the future of Echo Beach remained undecided.
The programme, which took a behind-the-scenes look at the fictional production of Echo Beach, will return next year.
An ITV insider told The Guardian newspaper: "Echo Beach will most probably return, but not necessarily as it is now.
"The two shows are interlinked, so ITV would still want to continue with it."
