Jason Donovan plans to release new album
01/09/2008 - 09:47

Echo Beach star Jason Donovan is set to release his first album in 15 years.
The ex-Neighbours heart-throb is best known for his 80s hits including his duet, Especially For You, with pint-sized popstar Kylie Minogue.
His last album in 1993 only made it to number 27 in the charts and he battled against drug addiction before turning his fortunes around.
The 40-year-old appeared on ITV1's popular reality show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2006, coming in third place and recently married his long-time partner.
The new album, Let It Be Me, is inspired by music from the 50s and 60s including new versions of classic songs like Blue Velvet, Love Hurts and Smoke Gets In Your Eyes. It will be released in November.
