Kelly Brook: 'Alan Dale is a legend'

Kelly Brook has said she jumped at the chance to wear tiny hot pants and be chased by zombies with Neighbours legend Alan Dale in the new series of Moving Wallpaper.

The model and actress plays a version of herself in the ITV1 show, which combines the studio setting of Moving Wallpaper with the B-movie Renaissance, which is being filmed there.

Kelly, who was a judge on Britain's Got Talent for just six days, said signing up for the second series was an easy decision.

"Everything about the show appealed to me, the fact that I got to work with Alan Dale, be chased around by zombies, wear minuscule hot pants and then got to play myself," she said.

She added: "I've always loved cheesy B-movies and I've made quite a few myself, so I just thought it would be a great opportunity to do a send-up of that and to work with Alan Dale who I'm a massive fan of.

"Don't call him Jim Robinson though because a few people have! People have been going around on set saying 'Hi Jim, er I mean Alan' - which is terribly embarrassing! He's such a legend, so to have him involved in the project and then have us both being chased by a hoard of zombies it's just really fun.

"It would have been weird having Jason Donovan in the new series though as he played Alan's son in Neighbours!"

Moving Wallpaper begins on ITV1 on Friday February 27 at 9pm.
