Jason Donovan was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1968. He was a child actor and sung in the Australian Boy's choir before joining the cast of hit soap Neighbours the day after he left school.
He went on to get a record contract and was the first male Australian artist to have a single and album at number one at the same time, although he is best known for his duet 'Especially for you' with on and off screen love Kylie Minogue.
In 1991 he played the lead role in 'Jospeh and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat' but his career spiralled downwards in the mid-90s after reports of his drug use. An acclaimed appearance in The Rocky Horror show at the end of the decade began to put him back on track and he went on to successfully appear in I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in 2006.
He is 39 and lives with his partner Angela Malloch, son Zac and daughter Jemma.
