Ben Miller
Plays Jonathan Pope
Ben, 41, was studying for a PhD in Physics at Cambridge university in 1992 when he met Alexander Armstrong and swapped science for comedy.
The pair spent four years touring pubs and clubs before appearing on Saturday Night Live and being awarded a Perrier award. They were then given their own show, Armstrong and Miller.
He has had a number of film roles including Birthday Girl and There's Only One Jimmy Grimble. He has also been the voice of ITV's digital monkey alongside Johnny Vegas.
