Gennie tells Brenda about her internet date when Brenda thinks she's going on a date with Jamie and reveals that Jamie is going with her for moral support. Gennie meets her date and is hurt when he says she doesn't look as good in the flesh as in her photo.
David is stunned when Pollard confesses that the factory may have to close completely within days. David feels stuck between supporting his father and keeping Edna happy over Pollard's funeral parlour plans.
