Emmerdale actress Roxanne Pallet likened herself to Bridget Jones after suffering a 'wardrobe malfunction' at the British Soap Awards on Saturday night.
Roxanne, who plays Jo Stiles in the ITV1 soap, described herself as the clumsy singleton when she literally fell out of her dress on the purple carpet.
Luckily, a fan rescued her - and co-star Verity Rushworth was soon on hand to clip the star back into place.
Roxanne said: "In an interview the other day I said that I am Bridget Jones - but I didn't expect that to happen to me.
"I just had to ask one of the fans to put my dress back together for me - how embarrassing?"
Roxanne had been nominated for Best Actress and Sexiest Female but lost out to Hollyoaks' stars Emma Rigby and Roxanne McKee respectively.
