Ex Emmerdale star Ben pitches for a Dales return

Emmerdale's Ben Freeman has said he would love to return to give bad boy Cain Dingle a run for his money.

The 31-year-old actor played lothario Scott Windsor for 10 years until 2007, but he told Inside Soap he'd love to make a dramatic comeback.

Ben said: "It'd be fun to go back and be a rival to Cain.

"I'd like a storyline where someone buys up loads of property, and then it turns out that Scott's a millionaire and has bought everyone's houses!"

Ben is currently starring opposite Hollyoaks' Carley Stenson in Legally Blonde: The Musical, but still keeps in touch with his Emmerdale co-stars.

He said: "I'm still very much in contact with all the Windsors.

"That's what Emmerdale is like. You're friends for life, and everyone stays in touch with each other. It was a pleasure to work with them all."
