Cain Dingle is hovering between life and death after being badly beaten in Emmerdale and the police have the tricky task of investigating six people with great motives.
Jai and Charity are the most obvious culprits after the campaign of terror Cain unleashed on both them and Jai's family. And if truth be told, they both suspect each other for the stealth attack.
But Moira and John Barton also have compelling motives, after Cain's affair with Mrs B, and pretty soon the police swoop and arrest John! But have they got the right person?
And what happens if and when Cain emerges from his coma?
