Chas has a short fuse and isn't shy about using her fists to settle an argument. She's fiercely loyal to her friends, but she makes a very dangerous enemy.

2002 First appears in October, booked as a strippergram for cousin Marlon Dingle's stag do. Divorced from husband Gordon, and their son lives with him.
2003 Moves in with Dingles when she's left homeless.
2004 Gets together with Carl King, much to his family's disapproval. Flatmate Chloe Atkinson schemes to split them up and takes Carl for herself.
2005 Dates policeman Denzil Calburn and her lawless family are horrified! Still in love with Carl and joins the Army to forget him, but Carl finds her. Sweeps her off her feet - literally! - and drops her, breaking her leg and ending her Army career.
2006 Dumps Carl when she discovers he slept with her cousin Delilah while she was in the Army. Carl proposes after trying to impress her by doing a charity wing-walk. Chas is later pressured by his father to cancel their wedding plans.
2007 A suspect in the murder of Tom King but investigation clears her.
2008 Discovers she has a half-sister, Genesis Walker. Rescues son Aaron from McFarlane gangster family. Aaron hates her, feeling she abandoned him.
2009 Moves in with vet Paddy Kirk, taking Aaron with her. Breaks Paddy's heart by leaving him for Carl. She breaks Aaron's heart, too, by forcing him out of the happiest home he's known in years.
2010 Deeply upset when son Aaron tries to kill himself because of his homosexuality. Loses father Shadrach. Plans a slow, calculated revenge when she discovers Carl has been having an affair with Eve. Jilts him at the altar on Christmas Day.
