Jamie Hope
A real chip off the old block, Jamie Hope (Alex Carter) has the same corny sense of humour as his dad Bob - and the same tangled love life.
2006 Arrives for dad Bob Hope's remarriage to Viv and decides to stay in the village to spend more time with sister Dawn. Devastated when Dawn dies in the King show home explosion. Implicated in Tom King's murder.
2007 Gets job as postman and starts relationship with 'older woman' Louise Appleton.
2008 Gets engaged to Louise and goes to Australia with her. Returns in November having disgraced himself by punching an Australian national icon (a man dressed in a kangaroo suit).
2009 Louise sends him back her engagement ring. Discovers dad slept with Genesis Walker.
2010 Discovers Gennie had a relationship with Bob, but eventually gets over it and plans a new life with her away from Emmerdale. But at their leaving do, he spots Gennie kissing Bob. Although it was innocent, Jamie realises he'll never trust her properly, so decides to leave the village on his own.
