1995 A former rugby player, Terry Woods arrives with wife Britt in February, hired by Alan Turner as the new managers of The Woolpack. Britt leaves for a new job before the year's end.
1996 Wins ballroom dancing contest with Viv Windsor and they later have an affair.
1997 Gets rid of Viv and her kids by having an affair with journalist Helen Ackroyd.
1998 Sacked by Alan Turner because he was sleeping with Alan's granddaughter, Tricia Stokes. Leaves village.
1999 Returns to Emmerdale.
2000 Works at Home Farm for Chris Tate.
2002 Helps Louise Appleton cover up her accidental killing of her psycho fiancé, Ray Mullan, then goes to Spain.
2003 Returns from Spain with an attractive young fiancée - Bob Hope's daughter, Dawn! They marry in March. Dawn gives birth to son TJ (Terry Jnr) in October but Terry has a stroke the day after.
2004 Marriage to Dawn is over after her affair with Scott Windsor. Has relationship with Louise.
2005 Dumped by Louise for Matthew King but still buys B&B with her.
2006 Gains full custody of TJ after Dawn's killed in the explosion of the King's show home.
2007 Reconciled with estranged dad, Duke Woods.
2009 Starts relationship with Brenda Walker. Becomes business partners with Eric and Val Pollard when they buy Louise Appleton's share of B&B.

Born in 1957, Billy Hartman's first ambition was to be a classical musician. Recognising he wasn't good enough, he went to drama school. Had roles in Minder, CATS Eyes, Taggart and many other TV dramas, plus the film Highlander.
