Zak Dingle
General dodgy dealer and all round wrong 'un, Zak Dingle (Steve Halliwell) is keeper of the 'Dingle code' - which basically means that he makes sure all Dingles live on the wrong side of the law.

1994 Makes his appearance in a bare knuckle fight with Ned Glover, which he loses.
1995 The Dingle clan are evicted by Frank Tate. Continued protests by the villagers mean Frank has to allow them back into their home - but this time with a tenancy agreement. Wife Nellie goes to Ireland to care for father and stays there.
1996 Meets farmer/mechanic Lisa Clegg.
1997 Talks Lisa into moving into the Dingle homestead.
1998 Marries Lisa in January. She gives birth to baby Belle on Christmas Day.
2000 Blames Lisa when son Butch dies in bus crash, saying she didn't service the bus properly. Nellie returns to try to reclaim him but fails.
2001 Confesses to Cain Dingle that he's his father. Diagnosed with testicular cancer but recovers with Lisa's support.
2002 Takes off to South America in search of the Dingle family fortune his dying father suggests is hidden there.
2003 Robs Tate Haulage at Christmas, taking the safe - which he blows up in a field!
2004 Thumps Andy Sugden for sleeping with his schoolgirl granddaughter Debbie Dingle.
2007 Makes friends with Rosemary King - and makes Lisa jealous.
2008 Resigns as gamekeeper at Home Farm - so now he can go back to poaching!
2009 Steals sheep from Barton family when they take over Butler's Farm and has his card marked by farmer John.
