2004 Moves into the village with his dad Tom as they expand their family business empire. Jimmy’s glamorous wife Sadie joins him in the village and causes a stir.

2005 Tom’s ex Charity seduces him then sets him up to take revenge on arch-enemy Sadie. Splits from Sadie and later colludes with brother Matthew to oust their dad Tom from the company.

2006 Bodges repairs to one of the King development new build houses so it can open on time, but there’s a gas explosion at the opening ceremony and two people are killed. Almost has a breakdown.

Nick Miles

Nick was born in Birmingham in 1962. He studied film and drama at Reading University and moved to London after graduating but later lived in Brighton. Nick has also appeared in The Bill, Peak Practice and Casualty, and had a role in Hollywood movie Gangs Of New York although he's also worked in telesales and industrial cleaning to make ends meet. Before being signed up for Emmerdale he was working as a courier. Nick married second wife financial director Stephanie Lumb in December 2006 and the couple live in Leeds.
