Max and OB spill the beans... (VIDEO)

Hollyoaks stars Matt Littler and Darren Jon Jeffries let slip that actress Sarah Jane Dunn would be returning to the soap in a secret upcoming story.

Matt and Darren - AKA Max Cunningham and Sam 'OB' O'Brien - picked up the British Soap Award for Best On-screen Partnership, despite the fact that Darren left the show earlier this year.

But Hollyoaks fans will be pleased to hear that Darren will be back on our screens as OB in the near future - and Matt revealed that some other favourites will be returning too.

Matt said: "It's nice having him back," adding: "On set the other day there was Darren, Sarah Dunn, Stephanie Waring, who plays my sister Cindy, and it was like... back in the day."

Realising his blunder, Matt quickly added: "Did I say Sarah Dunn is coming back?"

Referring to the soap's six-award triumph, Matt said: "I think it says a lot about the quality of the show and how it's changed over the years."
