Gemma Merna chooses co-stars as bridesmaids

Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna has revealed she's asked her co-stars to be bridesmaids at her wedding to partner Ian Minton.
The award-winning actress, who plays Carmel McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, has yet to set a date for her big day, but wants her screen family to play a part in the ceremony.
Gemma told Now magazine: "The whole cast are really, really close, but obviously [I'm closest to] Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes), Nicole Barber-Lane (Myra) and Claire Cooper (Jacqui).
"They're all going to be bridesmaids at my wedding."
Gemma recently revealed that she 'can't be bothered' to plan her nuptials, and said fellow Hollyoaks stars Jennifer and Claire have long been trying to do it for her.
