Hollyoaks' bride Mercedes kidnapped by Silas
18/10/2011 - 09:28

Hollyoaks' wannabe Wag Mercedes Fisher finds her wedding day turns into a nightmare when she is kidnapped by serial killer Silas Blissett.
The heavily pregnant bride called off her marriage to footballer Riley Costello at the altar on Monday night - and confessed to an affair with his father, Carl.
Mercedes - played by Jennifer Metcalfe - decides to escape all the ensuing rows by going on honeymoon alone.
But she receives a surprise visit in the venue's honeymoon suite from Riley's grandfather Silas - who kidnaps her and locks her in a vault.
Viewers will this week see Mercedes ending what should be one of the happiest days of her life chained up on a filthy mattress.
Mercedes is left fearing for her unborn baby and her life, and no one even notices she is missing as they all believe she has jetted off to Dubai on honeymoon.
Jennifer recently revealed she had a dark storyline coming up, and added: "It's been intense and hard work but I've loved every minute of it."
Silas - played by Jeff Rawle - has already murdered three young girls. Brendan Brady is currently in prison for the crimes, after the real killer tipped police off with a false lead.
Nurse Lynsey Nolan (Karen Hassan) has previously been targeted by Silas and managed to escape his clutches.
Later this week, she receives a chilling parcel from Silas warning her he is planning something horrifying for Halloween.
