Hollyoaks' Jorgie: 'I don't know how I'm alive!'

Jorgie Porter says she doesn't know how she's still alive given her hectic Hollyoaks and Dancing On Ice schedule.

The actress, who plays Theresa McQueen, films the Channel 4 soap from 7am to 7pm before heading off to gruelling late-night ice-skating rehearsals.

She confessed: "I don't know how I'm still alive. My body is literally running on adrenaline, it's more hyper than it's ever been.

"I'm getting up at 6am in the morning and skating until 11pm, so I don't get home until 12pm at night. It's even more physically tiring because they've decided to put a little bit of a dance storyline in."

Jorgie said of the new Hollyoaks development: "Theresa gets a new little mate and they have fun doing a little raunchy dance number. I think all the writers were like, 'I know...!'"

And the star, who has been wowing judges on Dancing On Ice with her brave ice routines, insisted she's nothing like her soap alter ego.

"She's very sort of bolshy, she used to be cock of the walk at school, she's killed someone as well so I can't relate to that. She's a lot younger than me too," she added.

"I don't wear bright colours either, her wardrobe's completely different to mine. I think the more horrific the better."

*Jorgie has launched the search for the 2012 Bennetts Babes, run by the bike insurance specialist to find eight biking beauties to become ambassadors for the brand. Visit www.bennettsbabes.co.uk to enter.
