Jodie set to drive the boys wild in Hollyoaks

A new character is set to get 'hearts racing' in Hollyoaks.

Jodie Wilde, played by former girl group singer Montana Manning, arrives in Chester just before Christmas.

She immediately catches the attention of depressed Doug Carter (PJ Brennan) and cheeky Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) but has her eye on someone else.

Jodie, a fiercely ambitious dance degree student, is described as a woman who "knows her own mind" and will "speak the truth as she sees it".

Actress Montana toured with Girls Aloud as part of girl group called Cookie.

She also appeared in the background of Harry Potter's Hogwarts scenes.

Her most recent role was Katia in the film Demons Never Die and she also appeared in The Wanted's video for hit single Glad You Came.
