Jorgie: 'All the McQueens want to come on the ice'

Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter says her on-screen family would love to join her on Dancing On Ice.

The star, who plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, has been impressing judges on the ITV1 skating show - which last year featured Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes McQueen) among the line-up.

Jorgie said the other actresses who depict the McQueen clan are keen to get their skates on too.

She said: "Jen is like, 'You're going to love it', and they all want to come on the ice. I really want to bring them all for a day on the ice so they can just have fun with it. But filming schedules make it a bit hard."

Jorgie added: "I'm still filming and doing this, but I just have to get naps in when I can."

The actress said her colourful Hollyoaks alter-ego would love to compete in Dancing On Ice.

"I think Theresa would be really outrageous and over the top, and dead diva-ish," she laughed.
