Jorgie's Hollyoaks romance spills into real life

Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter has revealed she's dating co-star James Atherton.

The 23-year-old actress plays Theresa McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, who is currently dating James's character Will Savage on screen. But now Jorgie has admitted in an interview with Gossip-Monthly.com they're an item in real life.

Jorgie revealed: "Me and James have been dating a while and it is the first time I have dated a co-star. I've never actually admitted that we have been going out!

"Things are going really well and he is a great guy, I can't shut up about him! It is a little weird working with him on set. We will be doing a scene and then afterwards it is like, 'So do you want to hang out after this?'

"I don't know if I'd get jealous of him kissing another co-star for work - I've never seen him do it yet. I'd like to say no because it is work, but when it happens I'll probably go mad!"

The soap star revealed she loves playing Theresa and has no plans to leave.

She said: "At the moment I am really happy at Hollyoaks. It makes me laugh and keeps me happy and I don't want to leave that.

"Theresa has had loads of twists and turns, from snogging every boy on the block to killing someone, having a baby, every bit has been an absolute privilege and long may it continue."

But Jorgie admitted when Theresa became a mum, she found it really hard working with the baby.

"Working with a baby was really weird, I was so scared. The baby on set hated me. It's OK when they're toddlers as they can talk and walk. But when you have to hold a baby they can sense your fear!"
