McFly to appear in Hollyoaks

Pop group McFly are set to appear in Hollyoaks next month.

The four-piece - Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd - recently filmed an episode of the Channel 4 soap, which is due to be screened in May.

McFly, who have notched up seven number one singles and two number one albums, take to the stage during Band Night at the SU Bar, an event organised by Justin Burton (played by Chris Fountain).

And when McFly's Tom notices that love is not blossoming between Justin and Hannah, he tries to play cupid - but will his advice force Justin into action?

Lucy Allan, Hollyoaks series producer, said: "The McFly boys were great to have on set and they all worked really hard. They caused a bit of a stir amongst the female crew as well!"
