2006 Gets a job in Evissa beauty salon and nearly loses it when boss Louise Summers realises she’s one of the trouble-making McQueen sisters. Dates Jake Dean and Sam ‘OB’ O’Brien and has a boob job!
2007 Falls for half-sister Jacqui’s Albanian husband Aleksander and is wracked with Catholic guilt. Relieved when Jacqui reveals she married Aleksander to get him a visa, but left devastated when Aleksander returns home. Finds love again with copper Calvin Valentine.
2008 Passes exams to become a community police officer. Calvin proposes. Stunned when Aleks turns up in the village needing help and secretly lends him her wedding fund.

Gemma was born in 1984 and grew up in Cleethorpes, Lincolnshire. She studied at the Manchester School of Acting before winning the role of Carmel and while she was at college, she worked as a make-up artist.
