Barry Sloane
Plays Niall Rafferty
Barry was born on February 10 1981 and brought up in Liverpool. He has two siblings, a brother, Jamie, who is a musician and a sister, Samantha, a hairdresser.
Before joining Hollyoaks Barry's biggest role was as bad boy Sean Smith in Brookside. He also once tried out for the role of Eli Dingle in Emmerdale and Hayley Cropper's son in Coronation Street.
Acting is not Barry's only talent as he is a trained musician and he was in a relatively successful rock band called Smiling Jackals from the age of 14 to 21.
