Justin Burton

Justin Burton

Justin has a passionate nature, but he’s a misguided kid and has made some dramatic mistakes with both his love affairs and his friendships.

2003 Mum Liz moves him and sister Sophie to the village to be with Sophie’s twin Mel, who has just started college.

2004 Falls behind at school and gets extra tuition from sexy young teacher Becca Hayton. Discovers his late father committed suicide and goes off the rails. Drunkenly pushes stepsister Darlene through a window and is sent to teen boot camp.

2005 Becomes obsessed with Becca and kisses her. Banged up when he’s wrongly accused of fatally stabbing his stepbrother Ali Burton. Becca supports him in court and he’s found not guilty. Seduces Becca at Christmas.

2006 Word of their affair gets out. Becca is pregnant but unsure whether Justin or her husband Jake Dean is the father. Justin proposes but Becca breaks things off. Justin takes revenge by falsely reporting Becca for bedding him when he was underage and Becca is sent to prison. Sleeps with schoolgirl Sasha Valentine.

2007 Becca gives birth to baby Charlie, but Jake claims paternity. Becca is fatally stabbed in prison just as Justin is about to confess to his false claim. Starts working for dodgy club owner Warren Fox who forces him to help bury his murder victim Sean Kennedy. Sleeps with Max Cunningham’s devious ex Clare and later nearly kills her after pushing her off a balcony. Falls for Warren’s sister Katy.

2008 Discover he’s Charlie’s dad when Charlie suffers from leukaemia. Charlie is successfully treated, but the stress splits him up from Katy. Warren forces him to convince the by now psychiatric patient Jake to take the rap for Sean’s murder by offering to back Jake’s mum Frankie’s fight for custody of Charlie.
