2005 Pays big sister Becca a visit and makes firm friends with local girl Nicole Owen. Runs away from her Berkshire school and bribes Becca into letting her move in and transfer to Hollyoaks Comp.
2006 Dad dies after an illness. Tony and Mandy Hutchinson's baby Grace dies from cot death while she's babysitting. Discovers Becca is cheating on her hubby Jake Dean with schoolboy Justin Burton. Becca is falsely imprisoned for sleeping with a minor. Dates older man Foz.
2007 Foz leaves to go travelling. Becca dies after being assaulted in prison. Takes on Becca's baby Charlie. Turns to prescription drugs to get her through her exams. Begins a relationship with Becca's husband Jake. Starts teacher training. A controlling Jake proposes and Nancy is pressured into accepting.
2008 Charlie falls ill with leukaemia and Jake forces Nancy to marry him at Charlie's hospital sickbed. When he attempts to rape her Nancy snaps and walks out. Jake kidnaps Charlie and tries to gas them both in a car. Nancy saves Charlie and Jake is locked up in a psychiatric hospital. Jake's mum Frankie unfairly gets custody of Charlie.
Jessica was born on May 19 1983 and grew up in Berkshire. She started her professional acting career when she was just seven after appearing in a TV advert and she went on to appear on the West End stage in musicals Oliver!, Les Miserables and The Sound of Music.
TV appearances soon followed and Jessica starred in several shows including children's series The Worst Witch, family drama The Phoenix And The Carpet and WWII drama Back Home.
Jessica's longest-running role before Hollyoaks was as naughty chambermaid Belle Wise in the revamped version of 60s soap Crossroads.
