Actor Profile

Kieron Richardson

Born on January 12 1986 in Eccles, Greater Manchester, Kieron comes from a large family and has four half-brothers and one half-sister.

When he was 11 he won a place at the prestigious David Johnson theatre school in Manchester and was in the same acting classes as former Corrie star Tina O'Brien. Kieron later moved schools and stayed to complete his 'A' Levels before joining the Manchester School of Acting. He was spotted by Corrie writer Darren Little, who put him in contact with acting agent Nigel Martin Smith.

Kieron's first TV role was in Hollyoaks' spin-off Hollyoaks Let Loose as a minor character called Jimmy Mitchell but the following year he was asked to play school bad boy Ste Hay in Hollyoaks. Kieron left the show after a brief stint and guest starred in ITV drama Heartbeat but not long after he was asked to return to the village as Ste.
