Home and Away's Leah falls foul of Brax

Home And Away's Leah Patterson-Baker is set to get on the wrong side of Brax after interfering in his life.

The well-meaning chef sparks a "furious reaction" when she pays a debt incurred by Heath after witnessing the River Boy, whose real name is Darryl Braxton, being threatened by Geoffrey King.

Ada Nicodemou, who plays Leah, said: "[Leah] comes to Angelo's to see if Brax is OK and walks in on Geoffrey threatening Brax with a gun, so she knows things are really serious.

"Leah takes it upon herself to find Geoffrey and pay him out the money until Brax can get on his feet and sort it out later, because obviously his life is in danger," the actress told Australia's TV Week.

"So she thinks she's doing the right thing, but as it turns out, it wasn't a real debt. Geoffrey has just said Brax owes him this money, and so now Brax is actually in debt to Leah. In trying to help, she's actually made the situation ten times worse."

Ada continued: "[Brax is] really furious and takes it out on her. He's always telling her to mind her own business and stay out of his life, and that he doesn't need help.

"It's hard for Leah, because she's trying to do the right thing, but now she's feeling really guilty that she's putting him under even more pressure," she added.

The scenes will air in Australia next week and in late February on UK screens.
