Home And Away star Jessica Chapnik is heading to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.
According to the Australian Daily Telegraph, Jessica - who is better known as physiotherapist Sam in the soap - will be spending three months in Hollywood doing an acting workshop run by legendary playwright and director David Mamet.
Jessica will also apparently record the soundtrack Ben Lee has written for the film The Square, written by actor Joel Edgerton and directed by his brother Nash, which hits cinemas later this year.
It's not the first visit to the USA for the Argentinian-born star - she also studied at the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School in New York for two years.
Jessica previously performed in the band Old Man River and toured with ARIA-award winning songstress Sarah Blasko.
She will follow in the footsteps of former Home And Away co-star Sharni Vinson (Cassie), who recently announced she was quitting to head to America.
