Murder mystery sparked by Home & Away death

Home and Away's tearaway teenager Stu Henderson is to to spark a murder mystery plot when he is found dead.

Home and Away's Alf Stewart, played by Ray Meagher, is set to find Stu (Brenton Thwaites) lying dead in the caravan park. Stu was previously attacked by Sid Bezmel for violently abusing his daughter Sasha Bezmel (Demi Harman), making him the top suspect.

Robert Mammone, who plays Sid, told TV Week Australia's magazine: "The police visit Sid at his home and break the news, before taking him down to the station for questioning.

"Sid is prime suspect because of the bashing. Also, at the time of the murder, Sid was at home on the farm by himself, which leaves him without any alibi."

The actor also revealed: "The police investigation into how and what happened to Stu is very thorough, and you never know what they might find. There will be lots of questioning and several Summer Bay residents will become suspects."

The scenes will screen on Channel 5 in March.

Meanwhile, Home and Away star Lisa Gormley has revealed that Bianca and Liam's wedding is also set for trouble, when the groom thinks he has been stood up.

Bianca flees Summer Bay on her wedding day to escape a paparazzo wanting a scoop on ex-rock star Liam's marriage. But then she gets a flat tyre and can't get back to tie the knot.

Lisa told TV Week: "Bianca makes the stupid decision to get in the car, and then they get a flat tyre - and then it's just one thing on top of the other. It doesn't go very well!

"Bianca's losing it. She's literally bridezilla. [Liam] has no idea what's going on. He's just left standing at the altar, waiting on his own."
