Jordy: 'Neighbours helped me grow up fast' (VIDEO)
19/01/2012 - 17:00

Neighbours star Jordy Lucas says working on the soap has made her 'grow up a lot quicker' than if she'd stayed in education.
The 19-year-old actress, who plays Summer Hoyland in the Channel 5 soap, told whatsontv.co.uk: "I went from being a schoolgirl to a fulltime job and being treated like an adult in a workplace that's like a machine.
"There's no room for being a teenager... I've grown up a lot quicker."
Jordy was cast as Summer after winning Dolly magazine's Neighbours Next Big Star competition. She says her role model is former Neighbours star Margot Robbie, who now stars in the US series Pan Am.
