Neighbours' Andrew 'to go off the rails'

Neighbours teenager Andrew Robinson is to go off the rails in a forthcoming storyline, actor Jordan Smith has revealed.

The hunky star, originally from Scotland, said his character shows his wild side after a 'major' occurrence in his life.

Hinting about what's to come, Jordan said: "There is a major event in Andrew's life which sends him off the rails. He becomes involved with some illegal business and gets in too deep but won't ask for help, and it comes back to trying to please his father. And the most unlikely person does try to help."

Viewers will see Andrew in grave danger this Friday when he gets steamy with Summer Hoyland (Jody Lucas) in the Scully house, only for the Christmas lights to malfunction and spark a blaze.

Jordan said of the scenes: "It gave me a sense of what it would be like on an action movie. I loved it."
