Neighbours' new arrival set to 'stir things up'

Neighbours star Gemma Pranita has revealed that the soap's newcomer Michelle will shake things up when she arrives in Ramsay Street.

Speaking to the show's official UK website Gemma - who plays Jade Mitchell - promised that the new arrival would be "different" and that viewers were in for a treat.

"Michelle is quite a challenging character to live with so she certainly rocks the boat," she said.

"It's sort of Kyle (Chris Milligan) and Jade navigating their way around this big personality in the house. Let's just say that Michelle is very different, and she is going to stir the pot."

Gemma added that she also had some big storylines in the pipeline - with a surprise revelation about her own character.

"She is far too proud to share it with anyone - she is like a vault, and only the audience will know her secret soon," she said.

"She is constantly developing and evolving as it is. We will see different shades of her personality soon, which I think will surprise viewers."
