Neighbours' Scott: I'd love Lucas and Jade romance

Neighbours star Scott Major has revealed he would love his character to find romance with Jade Mitchell.

The soap hunk plays bad boy biker Lucas Fitzgerald who is often arguing with his friend Jade, played by Gemma Pranita, but admitted he'd love them to get together.

Scott said: "I keep pushing it with the writers, but they don't seem to buy it! I think there is a bit of a love/hate stand-off with Jade and Lucas. Who knows what will happen on Ramsay Street?"

But the actor revealed he thinks Lucas still holds a candle for ex-girlfriend Steph, who is currently behind bars.

He said: "I think she is a constant in Lucas's mind. He realises he had the love of his life there and now she's in jail."

And Scott misses Carla Bonner who played Steph too.

He revealed: "Absolutely, Carla was great to work with and a terrific friend, and the characters of Lucas and Steph were fun to play and very similar."
