Neighbours sign indie band for Andrew

Neighbours has recruited a new indie band for its cast after Andrew Robinson decides to try his hand at being a manager.

William And The Tells, made up of brothers William and Peter Ewing and their friends Ben Callaghan and Sam Walsh, have joined the soap for a month as Red Cotton, managed by Andrew (Jordan Smith).

William told the Neighbours website: "It's a huge opportunity for a bunch of local boys.

"Being able to blend acting and music will be great fun, and I'm looking forward to meeting long-time hero Lou Carpenter (Tom Oliver)."

The band will be seen headlining a gig in Erinsborough bar Charlie's, with William And The Tells playing their own material.

The scenes will air in January in Australia, and a few weeks later in the UK.
