Bec saves Pia's life

Bec is perplexed to learn that there is something wrong with her job application at the hospital and she is given an appointment to see the administrator Dr Welsh to discuss things. Bec waits to see Dr Welsh and is stunned when Pia is rushed in with multiple injuries following the ram raid on the restaurant. Pia begins to deteriorate and lapses into unconsciousness. Bec springs into action and saves Pia's life. Dr Welsh turns up just in time to see Bec's expertise and the truth about Bec's doctored CV is revealed.

Stavva is horrified when Pia is injured in the hit and run and he tells Wilson that Daniel must have had a hand in it. Stavva angrily confronts Daniel and the two men end up in a punch up. Wilson intervenes and separates the two men and he takes Stavva down the station and charges him with assault. Stavva is distressed about Pia's condition and he takes the situation into his own hands.

Daniel continues to meddle and he confronts Tess and makes her a proposition. Daniel promises to see that Tess is well looked after as long as she leaves town before Deborah returns from a business trip. What is he up to?
