Tennis champ Andy Murray shows he could give his Strictly Come Dancing star mum Judy a run for her money by having a spin with Anton Du Beke.

The 2013 Wimbledon men’s final winner has been unable to support his mother Judy in the studio audience so far this series due to international competition commitments, but he will make an appearance tonight, in a video to be screened during the BBC1 show.

Andy shows off his own dancing ability by grabbing Anton for a few steps, before the two of them then have a few moments playing tennis (which wasn’t shown on Saturday night, sadly).

In the film, he also says he’s not happy the judges have been mean to his mum, and she and partner Anton give him a taste of how they are getting on with this week’s routine – a Paso Doble to I Fought The Law, a hit for The Clash.

Judy and Anton finished at the bottom of the leader board last Saturday but managed to avoid the dance-off yet again.

Find out how they get on this week, along with the other nine remaining dance couple on Strictly Come Dancing, BBC1, Saturday, November 8, 6.30pm.
