Popcorn was at the ready for a Movies themed edition of Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night. But while some of the competing celebs got a thumbs-up from the judging panel, others were a box-office flop!

Mrs Brown’s Boys star Jennifer Gibley got a bit too carried away with her Meryl Streep impersonation while doing the foxtrot to Mamma Mia. And with a low score of 23, Jennifer is definitely on the danger list for The Results show on Sunday night, along with tennis mum, Judy Murray and telly presenter, Tim Wonnacott.

However, Special Guest judge, Donny Osmond brought some Hollywood magic to the evening. Having won the US version, Dancing With The Stars, he had lots of top tips for the celebs. Which made a refreshing change from the sneery comments of judge, Craig Revel Horwood who barely broke a smile all night!

The bookies are still favouring EastEnders star Jake Wood to steal the show, following another smooth performance – this time a waltz inspired by The Godfather.

But top of the scoreboard was The Saturdays singer, Frankie Bridge doing the Paso Doble to the song America from movie classic, Casablanca. Frankie’s fancy footwork scored her 45 points with the judges.

Don’t miss Strictly Come Dancing: The Results at 7.20pm on BBC 1 tonight to find out who’ll be voted off the show!
