Simon Cowell has reportedly considered putting Katie Price on The X Factor judging panel.

Asked about possible replacements to step into his chair so he can focus on the launch of the show’s US counterpart, the entertainment mogul dropped a hint about the inclusion of the reality TV star, who is more known for her partying ways and turbulent love life.

“Do I want Jordan as a judge on The X Factor panel? Yeah, that could work,” he told the Daily Star.

“Why not? I like her as a person. In fact I’d even go as far as to say she’s my woman of the decade.”

If things go his way, mother-of-three Katie would join Dannii Minogue, Louis Walsh and possibly Cheryl Cole on the panel.

Simon’s friend Sinitta also backed Katie, formerly known as Jordan, for The X Factor.

“Having Jordan on the panel would make interesting viewing, so I can definitely see it working,” she said.

“She can do anything she puts her mind to. She’s got the personality that would fit the role perfectly. Simon really likes her as well. There’s no denying they get along.”
