The Great Train Robbery

This two-part drama marks 50 years since the audacious heist...
Luke Evans puts in a wonderfully charismatic performance as Bruce Reynolds, the man who masterminded The Great Train Robbery, in this two-parter. It's hard not to identify with Bruce and his men as they plan to holdup the Glasgow-to-London Royal Mail train. There's humour, too, especially when the man responsible for rigging the trackside signal reveals his secret is covering it with a glove! 'It's too much,' says Bruce, as they count their £2.6million haul, knowing that the police would come after them with all their might and that their days as free men were numbered… Concludes tomorrow.
