Lucy and Len limber up to showcase their peppy polka...

King of the Strictly ballroom Len Goodman and top telly historian Lucy Worsley continue hotfooting it through the history of British dance as they turn the spotlight on the moves and grooves of the 19th Century. The slow and stately routines of the previous era were falling out of favour and being replaced by faster, freer and much more fun dances. Len discovers how factory workers developed clog dancing to relieve the boredom of the sounds of the machinery they used, while Lucy tries out The Blue Danube waltz. Meanwhile, their challenge is to master the century's hot bop – the exuberant polka – for another showstopping finale.
